Dino Pecchia, Principal
Dino is a Professionally Licensed Builder with over 20 years of construction experience.
His first foray in the construction world started at a young age, visiting his father on work sites. After graduating from BCIT’s reputable Building Technologies Diploma program, Dino got a job conducting home inspections at a well-respected construction warranty corporation. Through this, he gained a vast understanding of issues that can arise in homes years down the road, vowing to not repeat other’s mistakes. He continued on to pursue further education, earning his Urban Land Economics Diploma from the Sauder School of Business at UBC, graduating with distinction. Soon after, he was hired at an esteemed local real estate development company where he led the wood frame construction department. There he gained an extensive range of experience - building everything from single family home communities to large-scale multi-family developments – including some which required complicated heritage preservation components.
As the Founder and Principal of Divano Homes, Dino takes pride in working with each homeowner personally on each and every project we do. His vision for Divano Homes is to be a boutique firm that offers a more personalized experience, choosing to undertake a select number of projects each year in order to provide the highest level of customer service to each of the homeowners.
On the weekends, Dino enjoys spending time with his wife Vania and their two children - Elaina and Rossi.

Vania Pecchia
Born and raised at the foot of the North Shore mountains, Vania’s deep rooted love for home and all it stands for began at a young age. She understood early on the power and ability a thoughtfully-considered home has to propel us to become our best selves. With over a decade of experience in the marketing and client relations aspect of home-building, co-founding Divano Homes over a decade ago alongside her husband, Dino Pecchia, was a lifelong dream. Today, she enjoys getting to know the families Divano Homes builds for and handling brand development for Divano Homes.
Vania also offers clients Interior Design services through Vania Pecchia Interior Design and enjoys being an active parent to her two young children. On the weekends, she loves spending time with Dino and her family outdoors.

Terrence Coutain
Skilled and strong, Terrence has been with Divano since the beginning. “My favourite part of the construction process is the end result. It’s knowing that my work has enriched someone else’s life and brought joy.”
His trove of experience and extreme dedication to working precisely and efficiently make him an incredible asset to have on site. Usually whistling or else singing a tune on site, Terence’s easy-going nature makes him a pleasure to have around.
When asked about his childhood, he has fond memories and remembers looking after his family's sheep and goats at a young age. Tending to and caring for them taught him important skills early on - among them responsibility, accountability and compassion.
On weekends, you can find him relaxing at his home with his family, playing with his dog, Pablo, and listening to some reggae music from his favourite singer Beres Hammond.
Favourite Tool: My impact driver
Michel Nurenberg
Michel’s vast experience in carpentry, specifically finishing carpentry is impressive. “Do it right the first time. Take pride in your work and don’t take shortcuts.” When prompted, it’s difficult for Michel to choose just one favourite part of the construction process. There are so many favourites - “...interior trim, finishing carpentry, custom woodworking, and all the final touches that transform a project from a construction site to a finished home.”
Ever wise and patient, Michel pours his heart and soul into every project he undertakes. “Finish what you started before taking on a new project. Give a project the full attention it deserves.” On the weekends, you can find him relaxing, drinking coffee or maybe listening to his favourite heavy metal band from the UK, Iron Maiden.
Favourite Tool: My Bosch cordless circular saw. I use it on everything from demolition to finishing work on every project. This tool can do it all.
Andrea Hladik
Andrea understands that building a custom home is not only a significant decision but a personal one. She values excellent customer service and does her very best to deliver the type of service she herself expects and appreciates. “Detailed, organized, and transparent throughout the process, that’s what I expect from a builder and that’s what motivates me to deliver my best”, says Andrea.
When asked about her favourite part of the process – “the initial consultation and the key turnover. Getting to understand a client’s vision and goals is always inspiring and then the excitement of the homeowner experiencing the final product is so rewarding.”
With an impressive career background, having worked with major international brands as well as with prominent boutique agencies, Andrea’s experience and expertise make her an exceptional asset to the Divano team.
On the weekends you can find her spending time with her family – whether it’s outdoors exploring beautiful B.C., hosting friends at their home in West Vancouver, or enjoying a meal at one of their favorite restaurants.
